Scott Perkins
Hi! I'm a pharmacist and instructional designer with over a decade of experience in adult learning. My journey began in academia, where I designed, developed, and implemented dozens of eLearning experiences to bridge knowledge and skill gaps while fostering engaging and enriching learning environments. Through this work, I discovered a passion for creating innovative engagement strategies that capture learners' attention and sustain their interest in training. Leveraging my expertise in digital media production and instructional design, I specialize in crafting interactive, effective learning experiences tailored to healthcare professionals. My goal is to transform complex concepts into accessible, memorable, and impactful educational tools.
Instructional Design Philosophy
"Tell me and I forget. Teach me and I remember. Involve me and I learn." – Benjamin Franklin

My instructional design philosophy is rooted in the belief that interactivity is the cornerstone of meaningful learning. By harnessing the power of eLearning tools and instructional design frameworks, I strive to create experiences that not only engage learners but also ensure that learning objectives are met effectively and efficiently. I believe a deliberate and strategic approach is critical in transforming instructional goals into impactful and memorable educational journeys.
